WHEN ONLY THE BEST IS GOOD ENOUGH!

Taking your training to the next level!

As trainers and coaches you all know that feeling where you want to address your swimsport athletes to give them instructions or technique adjustment.

As during swimming your athletes will often be submerged, wearing a swim- or waterpolo cap or in some cases also wear earplugs, because of ear complaints, it is hard to get their attention.

Shouting from the pool deck or waving often does not have the desired result.

When a swimmer does hear or see you however, he or she will stop swimming in the lane obstructing other swimmers that swim in the same lane resulting all the swimmers in that lane being distracted.

While this is the moment that trainers notice the mistakes or imperfections in their technique.

Having been a competitive swimming trainer and head coach myself for over a decade I often thought:

"Would it not be great to be able to communicate "real time" with your athletes? To be able to give them technique instructions during a swimming set, fine tuning their synchronized swimming routine, playing a friendly waterpolo match in training to practice offense- and defense tactics or support young children during their swim education"

A unique instrument for all swim disciplines.

With the  Audite in Aqua (which stands for “hearing in water”)  underwater communication system you have an unique trainer tool in hand that will enable you to further support your athletes in the development and fine tuning of their technique.
Through a transmitter you will be able to instruct your swimmers wearing a waterproof “bone conducting” headset.

As the transmitters have 9 channels you can have your trainers instruct up to 9 different groups in the pool by using multiple (up to 9)transmitters. The direct real time communication from trainer to athlete will result in more effectiveness in the training. Saving a lot of time giving instructions at the side of the pool, as all swimmers get the information from the transmitter directly on their headsets. So less interfering breaks in training or swimmers that did not hear the instructions. Even when the swimmers are not in the water or on the other side of the pool they will still hear your instructions and comments.
With this system swimmers will expect their trainer to communicate with them during exercise which stimulates trainers to be more actively involved and swimmers even more aware.

Shouting and waving from the pooldeck will definitely belong to the past now!

Swimming

Wether you are teaching children to swim, giving freestyle swim clincs or want to improve the technique of your competitive swimmers, the Audite in Aqua system offers you the possibility of real time instruction and coaching from the side of the pool. Because of the direct "real time" communication with your swimmers you will obtain more progress from your instructions.

Swimmers will be able to implement your input while they are swimming.

Waterpolo

Wearing the Audite in Aqua headsets offers you the possibility to coach your players during training.

With two transmitters you can easily coach offence and defence tactics in a friendly game during practice.

It will no longer be necessary to stop the game for instructions. You can now tell them during the game how to adjust to or participate in certain situations making them more aware of what they are doing or should do.

Synchronized Swimming

During the excercises, with music above and under water and your swimmers in the middle of the pool doing their routine, the bone conducting headphones enable you to communicate with your swimmers. They will be able to hear both the music from the speakers and your instructions through the headsets.

Alternatively you can play music by connecting your mobile phone to the transmitter.

Normal hearing.

The earcup captures the sound and through the ear canal it arrives at the eardrum, a tightly tensioned membrane that vibrates with the sound waves. and forms the seperation with the middle ear.
The middle ear, consists of the three bones, the ossicles: the hammer, the anvil and the stirrup. These bones start moving when the eardrum vibrates. This amplifies the sound.

The inner ear consists of the cochlea and the labyrinth. The auditory and balance nerves are attached to this.
The cochlea is filled with a special liquid. This contains a special membrane with small cilia. These cilia will start to move when the stirrup moves the fluid in the cochlea. This provides a signal to the brain.

Bone conduction.

With bone conduction, the earpieces of the headphones vibrate on the bone directly around the ear. In this way the cochlea comes into vibration and sound is transmitted.
Basically bone conduction skips the middel ear part and directly sends the vibrations to the inner ear.

The inner ear is also called 'auris interna'. It consists of the cochlea and the labyrinth. The auditory and balance nerves are attached to this.
The cochlea is filled with a special liquid. This contains a special membrane with small cilia. These cilia will start to move when the stirrup moves the fluid in the cochlea. This provides a signal to the brain.
